‘Who looks outside dreams, who looks inside awakens.’ Carl Jung

Introduction

The dream is a gift sent to us every night from the psyche, offering deep insight into our inner world. Speaking to us symbolically, dreams can tell the story of past, present and future, offering not only reconciliation with the past but guidance for the road ahead.  Dream analysis is therefore an invaluable part of any therapeutic or personal development journey and will serve to enhance your practice and add depth to your approach.

In the workshop we will explore a range of topics including:

  • The dream process

  • How to better recall and record

  • The assessment of dreams for therapeutic guidance

  • Understanding some key dream symbols

  • The meaning of violent and sexual dreams

  • The transformational power of dreams

Using examples from her own clinical work, Laura will give you insight into how dream analysis is taken from theory to practice. Step by step guidance on approaching the dream will give you confidence in working with your own dreams or those you work with clinically. This workshop will provide you with the tools you need to uncover the symbolic language of dreams, enabling you to access the guidance of the psyche and expand consciousness.

This workshop is suitable for clinicians, students training therapeutically and those who are interested in adding depth to their own personal development.
